I understand there are quite a few Photographers in the Macnn forums and was wondering if any of you could point me in the direction of a good MemoryCard reader for the Express 34 slot on the MBP. I was looking at a few on Amazon that where flush with the side of the computer and I liked that very much but was a bit hesitant about them working with my CF cards. I use CF cards 1-2GB, no 4GB cards, and I am at times clumsy so One thats flush would be Great! :]

None are gonna be flush with the Macbook Pro only because a CF card is slightly larger than a express 3/4 slot. So basically any card reader you purchase will stick out the side. Pain in the a$$. When I purchase a new DSLR I plan on going nikon only because they support SD cards which the card reader will fit in the 3/4 slot nicely.

Oh wow... ! It would seem you are right... Well I don't have the money to switch over to Nikon (too much into my lenses and such). well thanks for pointing out the Obvious . That is a pain in the a$$. I think i will just stick to Plugging it in via usb for now or pick up a Card reader for my desk.

One thing to beware of is that ExpressCard supports both USB2 and PCI Express, so some of the cheaper card readers just use the USB side and offer no performance advantage over any other USB card reader.
