I am fairly new to Mac, this white 2,2 Ghz MB is my first Apple product. I bought as well the bluetooth wireless mouse. It works... well... OK. I have them for one month now and I still think that the mouse is not as precises as the one from my PC (wireless logitech). The tracking is set to the highest and it still is not fast enough. Then it is not sensible to little moves so pin- pointing to the little round buttons from Safary for example is not handy enough. I've changed 2 or 3 mouse pads and it is the same. It is like the resolution is not small enough. My wife, who is just a normal user of a PC has the same impression, it is harder than the pc mouse.

Am I missing smth ? Is the wired mouse better? Any USB cabled mouse is compatible with my MB?

Logitech's mice have better tracking than Apple's - it's pretty much always been that way. If you like the tracking on the Logitech, then you should get a Logitech mouse.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Apple's Mighty Mouse just ain't. Mine sits unused on a shelf. Just useless.

Logitech's offerings beat them hands down.

Yep, I have owned a Mighty Mouse for just over a month and hate it. Gets laggy for no reason and is more of a pain than its worth. Looking for a Bluetooth alternative.
