I believe one of the unwritten rules of computer nerdhood is to foreswear ordinary English. I can go to any cookbook and learn how to make scrambled eggs in one shot, but if I spent the rest of my life reading the VueScan 8.4.60 tutorial, all I'd get would be a migraine headache.
I'm running Panther, and my scanner is the Epson 1240U for which Epson couldn't be bothered providing a driver when Mac OS X hit the scene. It was like an organism when my venerable Epson jumped from its closet grave into vibrant life after I hooked it up to VueScan. The problem is, that's all I can do. By trial and error, I learned how to scan hard copies — but I haven't a clue how to get my photos out of iPhoto (or my Photo folder) into the VueScan viewer where I can play with all the nifty editing tools.
I need some nerdy hand holding on this.
