Does anyone have a recommendation on purchasing an eSATA card for a 2x2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro. I want to purchase a Western Digital My Book Studio Edition 1 TB external hard drive.
Thanks for the help.

Are you running Tiger or Leopard? If you're running Tiger get something cheap that's Silicon Image 31xx/35xx based. If you're running Leopard you need to buy something more pricey like the Sonnet E4P due to driver issues with the SiI 31xx chipsets and Leopard.

I don't see why it wouldn't be.

If you just buy a $4 bracket, then it would be bootable. With the E4P I'm not sure.
