Hey, i am trying to have my lcd monitor (samsung syncmaster 2693hm 1920x1200 hdmi 25") and macbook pro connect via dvi to hdmi. i have it hooked up now but my lcd screen is blurry. I tried to set the pixels to 1920x1200 and the lcd screen still looks blurry while in mirror mode. when not in mirror mode and the screens are just arranged as if they were multiple displays, the screen looks great. does anyone have a solution so i can use my external screen as my primary screen without sacrificing pixels? any help will be very appreciated. Thanks!

You can't do 1920x1200 in mirror mode since the 15" MBP doesn't support 1920x1200 on the internal screen.

To use your external screen as your primary screen (with dock and menu bar and all) at full resolution, plug your MBP into power/keyboard/mouse/monitor, close the lid to sleep it, and wake it up with the keyboard/mouse.
