HI there, not to be negative, but WHAT THE HEY! new imac comes with Leopard 10.5. but cant seem to find a solution from Protools to get it to work. The options seem to be 1) buy a mac pro 8 core and run protools v7.4.1 in leopard 10.5.1 (not 10.5.2) OR 2) use a back level of protools in Tiger. Which would u choose? I tried this first, seemed the easiest: run protools 7.3.1 in bootcamp and XP, but ran into some firewire bug...the mac intel driver there, which appears to be the same one everywhere else, chokes the LE hardware. Arg....

ps.Why would an imac after running apple software update still be at 10.5? is there something special u have to do to get 10.5.2 like automatically appeared on my mbps? In this case I may be in luck, as no version of protools runs in 10.5.2...thinking of making the monkeys learn Logic 8...i hear it works with our digi-002 cards..anyone done that?
cheers.
