I have a 12 inch powerbook, rev D. it has an Ultra ATA 80 gig hard drive. I recently found out about the Hitachi 250 gig SATA hard drive. Will this be compatible with my powerbook?

No, you can't use a SATA hard drive in your PowerBook. But you can buy a 250GB UATA hard drive for $130.

Western Digital, huh? I did come across that Scorpio drive but the whole western-digital-being-crappy thing is not a good reason for buying in my opinion. I wonder if better companies make an ATA drive.
