Hello,

I'm new to macs and I have a question about connecting it to a projector.

I'm trying to show a Keynote slideshow off my mac on a projector with firewire. But when I connect the firewire to the projector I can't get it to show. I think you look in system preferences under displays, am I right? I tried detect monitors and nothing showed up. Does firewire work for this?

I'm using a macbook with OS X, and a BarcoReality 6300 DLC projector if that helps any. Both have 6-pin firewire jacks.

-thanks

I don't think Keynote supports that. Use VGA instead with the miniDVI to VGA connector.
