Gefen makes many extensions and adapters for video gear... I use one to extend the DVI out from my computer to my Apple display (in a seperate room). In their forums, here is one post: Gefen Forum - DVI over 10M
It indicates 30 feet as the maximum distance for 1920x1200. If you need to run farther than that, they have solutions and I've found them to be helpful.
