I would like to mount my 30" Cinema to a wall in my living room. I would like it to be on an arm to have a wide range of viewing angle options.

Are there any better/cheaper alternatives to the mounting hardware sold at the online Apple Store?

I've never mounted a screen before, much less my Cinema. Obviously, I want to do this the *right* way.

Recommendations?

You need Apple's proprietary $29 mount adapter kit to convert the back of the ACD to a VESA (100mm) mount. From there you can use any VESA (100mm) arm that suits you.

There are also 75mm and 200mm (among others, IIRC) VESA mounts; many arms will support multiple sizes, just make sure you get one that supports 100mm.
