I've just bought a Microsoft Wireless laser 5000 desktop set, to replace my old MS wireless natural multimedia keyboard which I killed by spilling water on it (shame their not washable like mac keyboards) and after updating the software, the intellipoint software still sees my old keyboard mouse connected, and does not let me select in in the intellipoint sys prefs control panel (the same 3 keyboards are listed as before I updated the software and hooked up my new keyboard.
Even ASP sees my MS wireless laser 5000 as a wireless desktop 1.00 (same as my previous keyboard) I've run the uninstallers for intellipoint ion the utilities folder and then reinstalled (from the software on the CD which came with the keyboard) but I still get the same problem.
I've deleted all the MS keyboard/mouse related prefs in my users lib/prefs folder and even uninstalled in safe mode, no joy.
