How do bluetooth mice compare with USB-connected wireless mice? Do they use more power (since bluetooth has to be on)? Is there a way to have separate preference settings for different mice? The USB mouse I use at work needs to be set much faster than the portable one that I use at home and elsewhere. it's annoying to have to change settings all the time.

I can't discern a difference in quickness between the Bluetooth laser mouse I use and the Mighty Mouse I have connected to my G4 17" PowerBook.

i really do not see a speed or reaction time difference between my bluetooth mx revolution and my g5 logitech cable mouse in my MP
the only bad part is charging, which is not needed often

I have found no "slowness" when using my bluetooth mouse either. Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000.
