hi

can you please advice me which do you think is better desktop hard drive: Lacie 320GB D2 QUADRA(with firewire) or Iomega Desktop Hard Drive 500 gb( or iomega minimax )all of them are with firewire and the same price.

I like the d2 series a lot, but really, it doesn't make that much of a difference.

Neither iomega nor LaCie make their own hard drives, so you have no idea what drive is in there.

And really, these days, just figure that anything of importance needs to be on two different drives (if you didn't have a second copy, it wasn't important), and get whatever you like.
