Went down to the Trafford Centre with my gf yesterday and ended up walking out of the Apple Store with a 30" ACD. What can I say? Wow what a thing of beauty! Editing my pictures in Aperture/PS will never be the same again...I'm speechless.
Now, anyone in the UK want to buy a nearly new 23" ACD that has about two years 4 months Applecare left on it?

Man, upgrading your monitor is seriously the most satisfying computer purchase you can make. Going from a horrible 17" CRT to a 22" LCD was an incredible upgrade when I did it in January (actually I had just replaced a laptop with a desktop and was using an old CRT until I could afford to get an LCD). And just last week I finally got an HDTV and moved my Xbox 360 from my computer monitor to my new 32" LCD, and man is it awesome.
So yeah. Anyone torn between a hardware upgrade and a new monitor, get the monitor. You'll thank yourself.

Well the 23" ACD was £599 new plus the cost of Applecare, is about 7 or 8 months old so still has over two years Applecare left, has been well looked after and is in its original packaging so I suppose I'd be looking for somewhere around £450.
That sound reasonable?

It does, while you can find them cheaper there in ebay UK, they don't come with Apple Care and that is a must given the anemic Apple one year warranty… anyway, was just curiosity to draw a comparison with how much people asks for them here in Spain.

I hope you have the money left for a good hardware calibration tool.
