Ok, forgive me if this is in the wrong forum, but I am having troubles with my SD Card. See, I recently got this card reader, and before I got a SD Card I was using it for reading Memory Stick Pro's. It did that just fine. I put my new SD Card in it today, and Mac OS X doesn't even see the device at all.

So I go downstairs and try it on my dad's computer (which is Windows XP), and it works instantly with SD and MS, no problems.

So I plug it back into my iBook, and now it doesn't read the Memory Stick either anymore. I just want my iBook G4 to read SD Cards, how can this be done?

I am running on Mac OS X tiger, on a iBook G4. I am using a Verbatim 1gb SD card. Please help.

I had this problem, just bought another type of SD reader, cheap enough, works fine, bought several more.

I had a SanDisk 12-in-1 reader that would not read SDHC cards on my Mac, so I got a MobileMate SD+ by SanDisk and it works like a charm.

This is on Leopard but was the same story on Tiger IIRC. Regardless, I was ABLE to read regular SD cards in the 12-in-1 reader.
