Hello i have a Ibook g4 and i was wondering if there was a way to make it so i can use the squeeze sides of my pro mouse to be able to like for example: pull up dashboard, iTunes, or any other application thank you. (mac osx 10.4.11)

This is more about and specific to configuring the mouse, so I've moved it to Consumer Hardware and Components.

I think this is only supported on the Mighty Mouse. I don't think Pro mouses had squeezable sides.

Edit: Beaten to it. This question is also better suited to Consumer Hardware & Peripherals since the mouse or function aren't computer specific, I'll move it for you.

I've dismantled a dead pro mouse (to make a really sweet nightlight), and the sides are definitely not clickable, but solid. By the way, the options for buttons your mouse has will be in the keyboard and mouse section of system prefs.
