Since we don't have a thread dedicated to haxxoring your Apple TV, here it is.
I finally succeeded to create my own patchstick, was quite a pain in the butt.
Now I had SSH enabled and started installing some stuff like Perian.
Unfortunately, however, in the process of installing additional items, my Apple TV got completely borked when I copied over some Perl libraries. WTF ?
So I had to Factory Reset my Apple TV already twice and start from scratch.
This time around, I'm gonna make my own install script, so it can restore my hacked Apple TV state automagically.
Ayone else had the issues that the Apple TV would suddenly go belly up when hacking around ?
Any tips or things to avoid ?
