My limited knowledge on printers requires some outside info about drivers. I'm about to buy a FujiXerox DocuPrint C3210DX. The printer will be accessed over the network via ethernet. I have a heterogeneous environment with Mac OS X machines and WinXP/Vista machines.

The drivers available for Mac OS X are :

Mac PDF Driver - Printer Language: PDF
Mac PostScript Driver - Printer Language: PostScript

Windows drivers, available are:
PCL6 Driver - Printer Language: PCL
PostScript Driver - Printer Language: PostScript

Any advice on which is the preferred driver for each platform? I know this is an OS X forum I just thought i'd drop the question on the Win drivers as someone may know.

thanks in-advance

I've had less issues using the PS drivers. At least for windoze.

Both should be fine.

Postscript is faster, more flexible in terms of configurability/options, and with most mid-to-high end machines, much less error-prone.........and cross-platform to boot, so if you're in a business/office setting (it sounds like you are), this would be the way to go.......
