I have HK Soundsticks and after a reconfiguration of my iMac to install a new keyboard I now find that when I power on or restart I get a loud electrical click just before the sub woofer active sound, similar to a mic jack plug insertion sound. I have had the Soundsticks for some time but never noticed this before. Everything seems to work perfectly but wondered if anyone has experienced this with their set up.

I have checked all my leads and connections and they all seem ok so cannot solve this. I have checked several dedicated HK websites but no luck. Anyone help please?

I gather it's to do with Apple Leopard update 10.5.6 having a few glitches. See this thread.

I'm assuming you are referring to the USB version. I use the SoundSticks II. They work great. NO problems.
