I'm getting an Apple TV tomorrow and my Verizon router for Fios is only 802.11g... will it be able to stream the content to my Apple TV without hiccups?

My home network is "g" only and it works just fine. I rented an HD movie and watched it as it came in over the internet. There were no stalls, no stuttering, just smooth play. Syncing over a "g" network is also quite acceptable in my opinion. I have no complaints. Your wireless network just has to be as fast or faster than your internet connection. A wireless "g" network, for example, is several times faster than a 6mbps DSL connection.
I also have a 'g' network and iTunes streaming works fine. If you're going to try streaming online content from Boxee (CBS, Hulu) then a wired connection works much better.
