HP LaserJet 1160: Have to Press Green Button to Print

I always have to press the green button on the printer to print, even though the config page says "Letter" for paper size, and I have paper loaded and specified in Page Setup of every app. How do I change it so it "just prints"?

Is the paper tray set to letter? The slider might have moved.
