Hi ppl,

Can someone reccommend me a TV tuner (USB preferablly but not important), cheapest possible for the macbook pro? I don't care much about recording or fancy tricks it does, i just want a half decent quality hardware that will allow me to watch the grandprix from the start to end!

also, if possible, can you also recommend where i should get it from?

Elgato has good tuners, and comes with excellent software. You can also buy just the software from them and pick up any of the supported tuners separately, but I doubt that that would be cheaper.

Where are you based? If it is in a country or location with a decent DVB (digital) broadcast such as Freeview in the UK, then get an Elgato DTT deluxe.

If you don't have a decent digital signal, then look into one of their hybrid products (Diversity or Hybrid) which supports analogue as well as digital signals.
