New to Skype, and Yahoo Messenger, (Video calls) and even though my iMac works quite well with internal mic & speakers, I wanted the flexibility of external mic.

Even using the iMic USB mic level input hardware, it was a bit restrictive, so I took a chance and resurrected a freebie (unused apart from testing) Bluetooth headset that came with a mobile phone, the Motorola H350 bluetooth headset.

And it works !

Very well in fact.

So, I can now wander around the house and chat ...

In the iMac room, I'll stick to internal LS though, better quality.

(Even works when replaying music & videos on my iMac, though nvg quality cf LS)

I've no doubt that other bluetooth headsets would work, I just never considered using a mobile phone headset with my iMac, the headset was a discoverable device.

(I do hate that the iMac does not have a mic level input, requiring my use of iMic)

I now wonder if my iMac can cope with two Bluetooth headsets at the same time, for video chats.

Or even both iMacs at the same time ?
