All of my printers work in 10.6, except one. This samsung. It is not supported by guetenprint, but it does have it's own native driver. Obviously the Samsung site only lists it as being supported by 10.5. So when I try to print to this printer, after adding it in 10.6, I get the following message:
The printer software was installed incorrectly. Please reinstall the printer’s software or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
I have tried reinstalling the printer driver many times. I do kind of need this printer, and Samsung could take months making a driver update that works. Any thoughts?

Well. I uninstalled mine, then went here ( http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.co..._Installer.zip) (direct download link) and downloaded one that needed rosetta installed to work (just for the installer) and it is working fine. Please let me know if you need help with it, i would be happy to assist.

I just did a check in Activity Monitor and all is running natively, not with rosetta, Samsung ML 2010 comes up as 64 bit as well when you click print queue from system pref's.

My printer is the 2510, not the 2010. I assumed the printers were the same but I guess not. Thats the same driver i've reinstalled countless times. Just doesn't work for the 2510.

Same solution here (iMac7,1). I installed Rosetta, then re-installed the Samsung driver and now everything works.
