I have an iMac G4 800 mhz "swivel-head" computer and just purchased a Samsung LN37B550 HDTV. I would like to be able to play videos from my machine on the TV. I believe the video cable I need is a miniVGA-to-VGA. Please confirm.

For audio, I need a "PC Audio Cable"...is that just a cable with two headphone jacks on each end? Or do I need to use the smaller Apple Pro Speaker port?

Thanks.

Yes, you need mini VGA to VGA cable. Assuming your new TV still has RCA, you can get a 3.5.mm mini to Stereo RCA plug.

DealExtreme: $4.36 Mini VGA to VGA Cable (White)
DealExtreme: $1.60 3.5mm Audio Jack (Male) to RCA Audio Converter (30cm)

Thanks, olePigeon. It seems like when using VGA to connect from a PC, they recommend using the PC Audio Input, which doesn't appear to be an RCA. I think the recommended audio port when using VGA is is the 3.5mm. Do you know if this makes a difference, or would you still recommend I go with the RCA on the TV instead of the 3.5mm on the TV? To summarize:

Video: Mac mini-VGA ---> TV VGA
Audio: Mac (headphone or Apple Pro Speaker??) ----> TV (headphone or RCA??)

Thanks.
