I had it for a few months in my old mac pro, it mounted in my new 2.66 with 10.5 installed and now the 10.6 disc that came with it was installed and my one Samsung spinpoint 1.5tb won't mount! I can't find much of anything on the web,

any ideas anyone??

Could you copy the data off with another computer or external case, then reformat? Snow Leopard, like previous OS'es, has continued to enable fine refinements to HFS+. A format under SL might cure whatever bug is involved.

Assuming it still mounts when booted into 10.5, you could submit the bug to apple.

Man I can't even mount it! Worse case I'll have to copy it to a new Seagate or something with the old MP and it'll be a brick until there's a fix around or something, I cannot believe I'm always the first to have issues....

I did pop it out of the case and it mounts now as an external in my Cradle dock. (startech).
guess it'll have to become my backup drive now and I'll have to grab another Seagate 1.5...that
one works fine.... :-/
