I am looking for suggestions for a no-frills webcam that I can access from the internet to monitor my home (interior/exterior) that works with OSX.

Seems some kids are doing some unmentionables while the wife and I are at work.

Any info would be appreciated. Please.

EvoCam, but it's a full featured app, and not free.

I don't know of any free, no-frills apps. Try Gawker first, if you want something free.

I know someone who embedded a Quicktime deal in a webpage to provide remote broadcasting of his webcam. I don't know how he did it, but it might be worth looking into, especially since it won't cost anything.

Yeah, he probably used the Darwin streaming server or Quicktime broadcaster -- that will work fine with any camera compat w. osx or set up via firewire. You will just have to open the port on your router and know your external ip or setup dyndns to access it.
