I have a slingbox and can't figure out how to install this via Mac. I lost the installation CD so I have downloaded the latest version of "Sling Player."

When I go to Slingbox>Slingbox Directory>Add a Slingbox it asks for the IP and name of the slingbox as if I have already installed it. Anyone know how to fully install a slingbox on a Mac?

Your Slingbox should already be attached to your network. Have you not done this yet? You can't configure Slingplayer until there is a Slingbox on your network. Once it's there, the software should find it automatically so you can configure it. Sling's web site and the built-in help are not bad either:

Use a static IP instead of DHCP. Then to watch over the Internet, just set it up with the Slingbox ID and configure an account here:

You may need to enable port forwarding on your router to forward all requests to port 5001 (the default Sling IP port) to the box.
