Trying to get an HP OfficeJet 6000 installed on Mac OS 10.4 and having problems. At the end of the driver installation it said something about the printer could not be configured. I have it connected to the Airport Express via USB. The computer and router both see the printer OK so it seems like the driver got installed. But when I try to print something I just get garbage characters and many blank pages.

I've had nothing but bad luck with HP printers and 10.4 drivers. Could you try setting it up via USB and then attaching it to the Airport?

Nope, haven't tried it directly connected yet. I'll try that next if I can't get it working via Airport. Are the Canon drivers any better with 10.4? Maybe I'll exchange the printer if I can't get it working.
