I have a newer Macbook Pro and I use the EyeTV 250 Plus (newest model) to watch TV through my DirecTV recorder. I use the "Game Mode". I noticed the picture quality is pretty poor. Does anyone know of a better USB Tv Tuner? I have a Migilia TVMax but it doesn't support game mode, but the picture is a lot more crisp.

Have you tried the non-game mode?

IIRC game mode sacrifices quality for latency.

Yeah, why exactly are you using Game Mode for just normal TV watching?
