Due to a comedy of errors, my son has been using his mom's old Verizon cell phone for the past couple of months. He discovered the V-Cast feature and downloaded a couple of songs to the phone and, thus, has discovered the joys of having both a phone and a music player in one brick.
So, now, he's finally eligible for a free upgrade on our family plan. We always opt for the free (or nearly free) phone options. He'd like to keep the songs he already downloaded, so that means getting a V-Cast phone. There are a couple of freebies available.
My question now is, of course...Is there a way to get some music from his old Mac (a 2x2 G5 running 10.3.9) onto a V-Cast phone? Verizon has a V-Cast Music Manager app, but it requires an Intel Mac running 10.5. We'd really prefer he not go running-up charges DLing songs via V-Cast, especially when he already has a huge collection on his Mac.
Thanks.
