Greetings all.

I am looking at possibly purchasing one or the other of these. Can anyone spell out the main differences for me please? I am by no means an expert when it comes to cameras.

I should add that the D40 has a DX AF-S 18-55mm lens and the D60 has a DX VR AF-S 18-55mm lens. Again, the difference between lenses would be of interest to me if anyone can put it simply.

If anyone happens to know good guide prices for these two bundles (used - guessing no warranty) that would also be nice.

D60 has more pixels. Get the D40.

VR means vibration reduction... you can shoot a stop or two slower that you could otherwise.
