Once again my scanner seems to not want to interface with my Mac.
This time, it's with 10.7.
I just downloaded the latest driver for 10.7 from the Canon website and installed it. That didn't work.
The buttons on the scanner do nothing.
I open Image Capture. The buttons for Overview and Scan appear (Scan is grayed out), but then when I click on Overview, nothing happens, and I am told after a few seconds that Scanner Not Available.
The last time I had a problem like this, Canon could not provide a remedy, and I had to erase and reinstall my operating system to get my scanner to work.
I don't want to do that again.
What's going on??
