Afternoon all.

Has anyone else tried watching mp4 content from BBC iPlayer on a 1st gen AppleTV?

Its the right format, h264, right size but whenever I try to play it on mine, it crashes and the AppleTV reboots. iTunes happily accepts the files and the play without issue on my Macs.

Really, has no-one else had this problem?

I don't have apple tv, and the bbc iplayer "stuff" I get plays fine on my bluray player.

There is an app which lets you download the iOS versions of videos from iPlayer. These do not expire, there is no DRM on them at all. They play fine in iTunes or QT but my ATV crashes and resets every time.
