my visor will not sync. I hit the button, the visor starts trying to connect to the desktop and the desktop does nothing.

What am I doing wrong?

Stick the end of a paperclip into the reset hole on the back of the Visor, then try again. If this doesn't work, check to make sure you have the proper software installed on your computer and everything is configured correctly. If the syncing used to work fine, but suddenly does not, the reset method mentioned above is 95% likely to fix it.

You should have gotten a new one

Oracle: Since a simple reset to cure a common issue was all that was necessary, why would one get a new one instead? That just doesn't make sense.
