After much hard work, I am pleased to announce a limited preview release of PalmOnMac.com for MacNN readers. The site is dynamic and interactive community for Palm/Mac users, fueled almost entirely by reader participation and contribution. Finally, Mac users have a place to go for all things Palm.

At this time, the site has virtually no content, which is why PalmOnMac.com is soliciting the help of MacNN readers prior to the official launch. The site is designed to be written by you, the reader, in an effort to build a resource that will benefit the entire community. I am hoping you can help out by contributing news, rumors, editorials, hints & tips, tutorials, web site links, software download links, and participating in the forums. If you are interested in writing a regular column, please contact us. PalmOnMac.com would like to promote the open flow of ideas and information for all Palm/Mac users. Please keep in mind when posting to the forums that this is a fledgling community, so responses will be slow at first; we have to start somewhere!

Once again PalmOnMac.com would like to thank you for helping to develop the web site prior to its official launch, and would very much appreciate your questions, comments, suggestions, and bug reports through the e-mail addresses listed on the site. With your contributions and e-mails, the site will no doubt be vastly improved, evolved, and info packed for the official launch.

I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to take a look at PalmOnMac.com.

Unfortunately, it seems that only a single person has contributed to the site. A little over a month ago I received a number of positive responses to the idea of a community-built Palm/Mac site on this forum, and am a little confused as to why no one seems interested anymore.

If I am mistaken and there is interest, I'd love it if you'd take a few moments to post to the message board, type out an editorial opinion, post a news update, or share something you've learned about your Palm.

On the other hand, if there is some problem with the web site or the concept, I would love some constructive criticism.

I really would like to create a viable and useful community for Palm/Mac users, so I hope the individuals who read this will consider helping out--the results will benefit all of us.
