I have a palm m100 that I barely use. I bought it in october and immediately sold the cable on ebay for $10 because I used infrared to hot sync. Well that turned out to be a very dumb idea. I can never get it to sync right, I should have bought the USB cable. Now my question is, what do I need now? Is there a USB cable in one peice or do I have to buy an m100 cable and a USB add-on? Also, what cables work with the m100? Can I use a palm III cable or just ones that came with an m100/105? Thanks.

I just bough a PalmConnect USB cable from Amazon the product description said it was for the Palm III etc. The box the shipped reads that it is for the M100/M105 ect. This leads me to believe that they are exactly the same. Ebay and Yahoo auctions have Palm III PalmConnect USB adapters for sale all the time.

Since you sold your 9-pin serial cable, you will need to buy another. They cost ~$9 most places, probably cheaper at auction.
