I'm in the process of buying a Handspring Visor delux. Would like to know whether it has a built-in mic? I remember reading it somewhere.

Does anybody have an idea about it? Please let me know.

Well the first place I went to check was Handsprings site. 30 seconds after I got their I found:

"Built-in microphone: Yes"

yes it does... it's down in the lower left corner when looking at the Visor (and is used for the VisorPhone and other "mic-needing" apps)...

Yeah, I guess I read it from Handspring site only. It says yes. But that's it. Nowhere else (in their user manual, which my friend has) they mention anything about the mic. That's why the question.

Anyway, thanks.

I think the answer is a little subtle. If I remember rightly from the time of release of the Visor it has a mike but its only used by the springboard modules. I have a feeling that meant not accessible to software on the main machine but maybe it means just not presently used by the software on the machine. I think this is why you don't see it mentioned in the manual.
