I tired to search this one out but couldn't find any threads that addressed this question.

I'm planning to get a low end Palm (m100 probably) and was wondering how I might be able to sync it with my Ti.

First question I suppose is, do I need the USB connection kit or is it possible to sync a Palm w/ a PB over IR (I know that IR has been abandoned under X).

If IR sync works in OS 9, does it also work in Classic or do you have to boot to OS 9.x?

TIA

Yes, you can hotsync over IR. I am able to take my Palm III from its USB cradle, put it behind my Pismo and tap the Hotsync button on-screen, and it will do it automatically.

I've no experience doing this with OS 10
