I'm using gMovie to show a 1.5 minute trailer of a film of mine. I've been showing it on my grayscale Palm m500, which doesn't look great, and of course the audio is ridiculous. I'm interested in getting a color screen and am considering the Clié 760. I'd be very appreciative if anyone who has been playing video on their Clié could relate their experience.

The fact that it has a screen resolution of 320 X 320... does that mean that clips are half size on the screen? That's pretty small.

Can it play a full 15 frames per second?

What about memory sticks and file size? Do long clips stored on a memory stick play at full speed? The trailer that I'm interested in playing is 1.5 minutes long -- that's 9 megs. I suppose there's no way of the working with the 8 meg memory stick that it comes with -- of splitting the memory across locations.

Thanks very much for your help, comrades.

I have a Clie 610, and it plays converted QuickTime movies very well. They take up the full width of the screen, and look very good. You do need a memory stick (I have a 128MB stick), but that doesn't seem to adversely affect playback. My Clie lacks decent audio, so I can't comment on that aspect.
