When I posted a question about where to get Newtons a few weeks ago, someone, either in the Lounge or here, said they had bought some stuff from a place called Shreve Systems. I was wonderingi that person, or anyone having bought there, could share some insight as to the service and quality. I'm especially interested in knowing what all the MP 130s they sell come with and condition. I'd call, but I've been extremelly busy at work the last couple weeks and they don't have email. Thanks.

Go to http://www.shrevesystems.com/. They have a Newton 130 with leather case for $99. They also have a deal about getting a 130 with a keyboard.

I know about that, but I wondered stuff like if it came with a battery or software and if they are refurbished.

Refurbs. Some in great shape, some in really bad shape. Read the site's disclosure first before you order. Hope you get a good one if you place an order.

The only thing's I've heard about Shreve Systems were bad. That's not to say you won't have a good experience, but buyer beware. I've had good luck on the Newton Classifieds (are they still up?).
