I'll preface this by saying I've dropped my Palm three times since I got it. Don't know whether that's the cause of my problem:

Using Graffiti is just HORRIBLE ... I continually get wrong letters (and I'm very good and precise with my stylus.) I've done resets. I've cleaned the screen. Don't know whether an application could be the root cause.

Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated.
By the way, even if I click and get my on screen keyboard, I still find the response to the letters I click on very sluggish.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried recalibrating it? Go into prefs - digitizer and click on the hatches, I have to do this from time to time with my palm pilot. I don't know why, and it's annoying, but the palm probably gets more abuse than it should.

I've digitized repeatedly and it doesn't do anything.

Alas. It is sooo frustrating.

Get a Newton!

...the screen is probably off, open it up and reseat the screen...or buy a new one...or send it in for repair. Good Luck!

I took off all my hacks.

The only app I wonder about is SuperNames. Seems like I once tried a full reset, and as I had to rebuild my Palm apps using its built in AddressBook was fine. As I reloaded SuperNames it started to result in less effective Graffiti. That's my only one theory if it's application/conflict center.
