Hi there!

I followed the development of PocketMac, a software to sync a WindowsCE-based PocketPC with your Mac, quite a while. And now I wanted to pre-register, as you all can do on their homepage:

I tried three times, but I never got a email with my pre-register-code which I have to enter in the order-section to get the 5$ off they offer for pre-registering. You can try it, pre-registration is free. I also wrote them an email with this problem, but I never got a response.

Now I'm wondering: Is this all just a joke? I would DIE for PocketMac and I'm willing to pay it, but is it REAL? It should come out this week. If it's a joke, for me that would a insanely great pain in the ass.

Anybody knows something? Got your pre-reg-code?

It is not a joke. While I have not yet pre-ordered, I have had communications in the past with Terence 'Dr CE' Goggin, the developer. I even sent him ideas on how to improve the PocketMac interface.

PocketMac was also demoed on stage at a recent PocketPC exposition. There were photos and info about the demonstration on several of the PocketPC news websites I frequent.

And so why am I not getting my pre-registration code? Are these handled manually?

Just a little notice on the pre-reg-form would be fine, but I hate it when I don't know what's up.

Uh, the pre-registration code is ON the page where you preregister (look down below the fields)...

ckohler, any experience with PocketPc software? I am about to commit myself to a PocketPc once I find a reasonable software to link with my PB pismo. I am using a visor platinum now.
