Well I discharged my newton for a really really long time (which wasn't working 1 year ago), today I pluged it back to an AC, then "DING" ....... My newton BOOTS UP !!!! And the touch screen is BACK !!!!! awesome ... I am so happy .....

so can anyone tell me if there's anyone who successfully made it sync on a MAC OS X ?? (well I don't really mind, coz I'll continue to use it as a stand alone device if it can't sync with OS X)

Next time it happens again, then leave all power off, wait one to three hours, press the reset button once, then reattach the power supply and press and hold the power button for two seconds and it should bounce right back, all info. intact, just reset the date and time. As for OS X, NCU works in Classic mode via ethernet(although you gotta have the ethernet stuff already installed or download onto your Newt with Newtscape).
