My Palm IIIC is really giving me angst.

So I dropped it twice, true.

But the graffiti works for a while then either gives me odd characters or doesn't respond at all. I've done hard resets, cleaned the screen, but it's an ongoing problem.
I'd like to fix it...

or I'll have to get the new Clie.

Your advice please.

http://www.palmmedic.com/

You can get parts and fix it yourself.
This person used to fix them, now he focuses on palm upgrades.
I don't know if those links help, good luck. There are some folks that buy nonworking units so they could fix them up.(e-bay) I think they are just interested in Re-selling them.
