Can anyone confirm that a CLIE 415 works with the Palm Desktop Beta for OSX without the need of the Mark/Space drivers?

I want to get one, but I don't want to spend an extra $40 to get drivers for it. The damn thing should just work.

Yes, it works. You have to use palm desktop beta for OS X, which has knows issues regarding not being able to upen user data. A re-install fixes this, but you want your palm for convenience, not software re-installs. I love my 415, but I can not wait for non beta Palm desktop and OSx native versions of all the popular conduits.
