Well I finally made it back from the dark side, I spent the last 18 months using a Dell laptop (that thing was a beast). My new G4/800 Tibook arrived on Wednesday and all is grand. My one problem is my PDA. I really do like my Compaq iPaq 3765, I went out planning to replace it with a Palm device, but I just wasn't satisfied with any of the ones I saw (Apple Store and Office Depot).

Has anyone used PocketMac? How does it work? I wish they had a time demo...any experiences would be appreciated (Palm suggestions, or PocketMac experience).

Thanks
Greg

i just got it running, with an iPaq and iBook. my trouble was installing PocketMac onto the iPaq--it's a bit of a catch-22--it won't see your mac until you install it. i accomplished this via Virtual PC.

it's a pretty simple program, i haven't really used it too much, just once to load mp3s on. basically, it just let's you browse your pocket pc, and sync folders. the "professional" version, which is still in beta (i think) is capable of syncing contacts in entourage.

p.s. oh yeah, to use it, you have to open the program on the pocket pc and launch the one on the computer.

PocketMac Pro will be able to sync contacts, tasks, and calender with Entourage or Exchange.
