Simply put I can't. The beta didn't let me nor does the final. This is getting very annoying, I have not been able to sync since like August.

You need to use the Palm Sync cable. Thats the only cable serial to USB that worked for me. I do know some people had success with the Keyspan serial to USB, but I did not.

Get the Palm cable, and email me at JOHNGAETANO@att.net

I will walk you thru this.

i upgraded to 4.0 as well, & can no longer hotsync. i find that there are NO connection options at all in the "connection settings" panel of the hotsync window.

tried uninstalling, re-installing 2.6.3 nothing. deleted everything, reinstalled 4.0.

still nothing.

anyone know how to get the needed info into the connection settings window??

It appears that the connection settings button only applies to modem and IR connection methods.

actually, this cant be correct. even the main hotsync manager window states "no connections selected". there need to be SOMETHING in the connection window.

searching the forums here, elsewhere...seems like a lot of people are having similar problems.

where is Palm in all this??
