Anyone found anything besides Pocket Mac for Syncing your pocket PC to your mac? Really all i want to be able to do is access its harddrive so i can add songs and word files from my pc rather then always going to my PC, i got 2 craddles, one currently is just used for charging, but i'd like to do more with it.

I've never used PocketMac for synching, but I transfer files to my iPaq using a CF card or PC Card hard drive in the PC Card slot on my Powerbook G4. Word files, mp3s, eBooks, everything goes through fine, and goes a lot faster than through the USB cradle. Maybe use a USB CompactFlash reader with your Cube?

CF works for me, although I synchronize my iPaq with my PC's rather than going through unneccesary process with my Macs.

Can you please tell me more about the kind of CF card and where to get one. I am about to get an ipaq and I need it to synch with my pismo 4oomhz. Thanks

well first you have to buy a compact flash reader sleeve from compaq, then you have to buy a type I card, i'd recommend at least 64 megs if not 128, then a compact flash card reader. You can get the card and the reader at a local electronics store but the sleeve you probably have to get through compaq, my recommendation is to buy a 3800 series and a Multimedia card reader with that card.

<disclaimer: I work for PocketMac>

The regular version of PocketMac is probably ideal for your needs if all you need to do is copy files between the two devices... Just a thought...
