Just purchased a Palm Portable Keyboard off eBay (the Stowaway version actually) and am really looking forward to it.

I wanted to hear from people who use it and like it or who have had problems with it etc. What do you use it for mostly (any college kids use it for taking notes in lecture? - and for that matter, any Longhorns out there?), what Palm-based software do you use for typing stuff etc etc etc.

I just got the Stow away this week. I use Word smith and a visor prism. So far it seems to work great. I used to have the GO TYPE keyboard and I found it to be useless, the keyboard was not full sized. I could use my graffiti strokes faster than I could type with that keyboard. But so far a big thumbs up for the stow away keyboard, they make keyboard for other PDAs including the Kyocera smartphone, I'm sure the users of those devices would aggree on the quality of the Stow away. I am still new to the Stow away visor thing, I like it so far.
At least at the Asylum, they treat me with respect.

Use the lastest version of the driver (not available for palm, but it is made by ThinkOutside, the company that made the keyboard) and you get a cursor, which is sometimes useful.

I love my keyboard. I constantly use it. Great to show off also.
I always use protection when fscking my Mac... Do you?
